I decided to give one part of my garden a little makeover—the path from the street to my front entrance. This area of the garden hadn’t been properly cleaned for several years, so it was definitely time to do something about it!
I started by removing all the pebbles and pulling out the weeds. There were so many pebbles! It took quite a bit of time and effort just to clear the area.
After that, I spread sand that I bought from Cainz Home Center, a home improvement store near my house here in Japan. I also bought the tiles from Cainz and placed them along the path.
It took me the whole day to finish this little project. The sand was quite heavy, and the tiles were not exactly light either. By the end of the day, I was so tired that I felt like all my bones were complaining! Haha!
But when I finally stepped back and looked at the finished path, I was really happy with how it turned out. It looks so much cleaner and nicer than before, and the entrance to my house feels completely different now.
This is just one small part of my ongoing garden makeover. My garden has been neglected for a few years, and there is still so much more to clean, organize, and improve.
I’m taking it one area at a time. It may take a while, but little by little, I’m bringing my garden back to life. 🌿
