A Little Greenery Inside My Home

ondoor plants Gardening

I’ve always loved having plants around me, and I especially enjoy bringing a little bit of nature inside my home.

There’s something about seeing green plants indoors that makes me feel relaxed. Even a small corner looks more beautiful when there is a plant in it. Somehow, it just feels more alive—and it is always a pleasure to look at.

I have several indoor plants in my home, including spider plants, rubber plants, money plants, fern plants, ponytail palms, and umbrella trees. I also have a few other tropical plants that I enjoy growing and caring for.

I bought some of them from Cainz, a home center near me here in Japan. I chose different plants, put them into small pots, and arranged them around the house. I didn’t need anything elaborate. Just placing the plants in little corners was enough to make the space feel different.

I also like the idea of having plants indoors because they can help create a fresher and more pleasant environment. Spider plants are especially popular as indoor plants and are often known for their air-purifying qualities.

But for me, it’s not only about that. I simply love how plants look. There is something refreshing about having green leaves around the house.

And I especially enjoy looking at them at night.

When I turn on a small lamp beside the plants, the warm light creates a cozy little corner. The plants look completely different in the evening, and sometimes I just sit and enjoy looking at them.

Living in Japan, I’m surrounded by nature in many ways, but I also love bringing a little piece of that feeling into my own home.

A little green here, a little green there—and suddenly, the house feels warmer, fresher, and more like home. 🌿
