🧶 Crafting, Stretching & Taking Care of My Body 🧘‍♀️

Sretching Life in Japan

I absolutely love making handmade crafts. I enjoy trying all kinds of crafts—from crocheting and embroidery to wire crafts, accessories, fabric crafts, and so much more.

I can spend hours crafting without even noticing how much time has passed. But because I’m so focused on what I’m doing, I sometimes forget about my posture. Staying in the same position for a long time can leave me with a stiff neck and aching neck and back.

Luckily, I have a friend who is an exercise instructor, and we decided to collaborate on YouTube!
My friend is also a content creator. [シンプルにお家トレ]😊You can check out her YouTube channel here.

While we were making crafts together, we talked about the neck and back pain I sometimes experience while crafting. She taught me some simple stretches and exercises that can help relieve the discomfort and, more importantly, prevent it.

Please watch our collaboration video and join us as we craft and stretch together!

We had so much fun doing both. For our craft project, we made a simple coaster using paper band. It was a little rough around the edges, but that really didn’t matter because we enjoyed making it—and the finished coaster turned out so cute! I love its natural, rustic look. It really feels handmade.

For all my fellow craft lovers, neck stiffness, back pain, and other aches can sometimes come with spending long hours creating. That’s why taking care of our health is so important. The healthier and more comfortable we are, the more handmade creations we can enjoy making.

So remember to take a little break, stretch your body, and check your posture while crafting.

Happy crafting, everyone! 🧶🧵✂️💕
